Law exams in India
The Law is the collection of rules and regulations of a country which is formulated by some honorable person to keep the management of a country in an ordered form. It is Law which controls the criminal activities, corruption, and violence in a country.A Law is the set of regulations which is responsible for maintaining peace in a country, therefore many people like to join the law profession so that they can play a role in regulating law and order in their country. Indian government and educational institutes pay very much attention to the law as a subject. Therefore, many universities and institutes are teaching this subject to produce a team of law professionals who can make the name of their country in the field of law making and implementing.
Educational institutes give admissions on merit basis in law programs therefore, government and different organizations offer some law entrance tests and exams. These law exams are designed only for those students who really want to do something in this field. Here is a list of law exams in India:
- AIBE (All India Bar exam) AIBE is a national level exam conducted by Indian bar council. Last date to apply for this exam is 18 November 2015.
- ACLAT (Alliance university Common Law Admission Test) ACLAT is a university level entrance exam conducted by Alliance University. The last date to apply for this test to get admission in undergraduate law programs at Alliance University is 10 December.
- AILET (All India Law entrance test) AILET is also a university level entrance exam conducted by National law University Delhi. The last date to apply for this test is 1st January 2016. This test is for admission in undergraduate programs.
- LSAT-INDIA (Law School Admission Test India) LSAT-INDIA is a national level exam conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of Law School Admission Council (LSAC). This test is for admission in undergraduate Law programs.
- ULSAT (UPES Law studies Aptitude test) ULSAT is a university level entrance exam conducted by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). This test is compulsory for admission in law undergraduate programs.
- LSAT India PG (Law school Admission Test for LLM program) LSAT India PG is a national level exam conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of Law school Admission Council (LSAC). This exam is for admission in post graduate programs. The last date to apply for this test is 28 Aril 2016.
