Panasonic has launched its Toughpad FZ-B2 in India. It is designed purely for business users.The FZ-B2 is tagged at a starting price of Rs 75,000, with additional charges for the tablet accessories. The accessories for the tablet include batteries, and desk docking options, which allows. Although exorbitantly priced, the tablet is a viable option for professionals with harsh outdoor work environment.

The new Panasonic Toughpad FZ-B2 is said to be water and dust proof and also adopts a MIL-STD-810G design (drop, shock, vibration, rain dust, sand, altitude, freeze, high/low temperature, humidity, explosive atmosphere) for long-lasting durability.The device comes with a 7-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 800 x 1200 pixel.The device is has a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Celeron N2930 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It also includes Intel HD graphics.The tablet has an inbuilt storage of 32GB that can be expanded further up to 64GB via microSD card slot and also its has a 5MP back camera and 2MP front-facing camera. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.The device includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0. It also supports 4G LTE mobile broadband with satellite GPS.
